Another 8 more days behind bars for MP Theo Heyliger

~Moved to Pointe Blanche prison~

PHILIPSBURG--A group of Theodore Heyliger supporters gathered in front of the Courthouse on Friday morning to catch a glimpse of the UD-leader who was to hear from the judge whether he would have to spend another eight days in prison in connection with the Larimar case.

The Member of Parliament (MP) was arrested on February 19. His lawyer requested to transfer him to Pointe Blanche prison instead of staying in the Philipsburg detention facility.

Sympathizers said Heyliger was being victimized and blamed the Dutch for intervening in the political system of the island.
