The late Gregory Arrindell was honoured with tribute speeches and songs.
PHILIPSBURG--A candlelight vigil was held at Walter Plantz Square in downtown Philipsburg on the evening of Sunday, July 25, honouring the life of Gregory Arrindell.
A well-respected voice of the Philipsburg business community, Arrindell dedicated his life to promoting St. Maarten in the Caribbean region and further abroad for the purpose of cross-border collaborations. His family, friends and colleagues gathered at Walter Plantz Square dressed in white to honour Arrindell in a ceremony with speeches by loved ones, including June Peters (pictured).
“Gregory Arrindell was part of the Walter Plantz Square family and will be dearly missed,” read a statement from Port St. Maarten.
Denicio Wyatte, Arrindell’s son, thanked Port St. Maarten and Down Street Business Community Council for their condolences and contribution towards the memorial service and candlelight vigil.
