Caribtrans Logistics in Florida moves to new warehouse Jan. 4

PHILIPSBURG/MIAMI--Caribtrans Logistics, a shipping company which has been serving clients in St. Maarten, Saba and St. Eustatius for the last 30 years, will be relocating to a new state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Medley, (Miami) Florida early next year.

The company’s new address as of January 4, 2016, will be Caribtrans Logistics LLC, 11401 NW 107th Street, Miami, Florida, 33178.

The company said it is able to make the expansion to enhance its services for its clients because of its “loyal customers” around the Caribbean with St. Maarten being its number one port. “Caribtrans has been serving the Caribbean islands for many years,” the company said, adding that it specialises in Less Than Container Load (LCL), Full Container Load (FCL) and Airfreight consolidations.

Caribtrans said its “quality one-on-one personalised service” has made its name “well-known throughout the Caribbean market. Caribtrans is a household name in the Northern Caribbean and is quickly spreading throughout the rest of the region.”

The company boasts that its customers have come to know the business as friends. “By investing in the cultures and local business customs on each of the islands, (Caribtrans) has first-hand knowledge of all business practices and local regulations. (Caribtrans’) close ties and daily communication with their overseas offices or agents complete the equation and insures their slogan of ‘nobody does it better’,” the company said.

Caribtrans companywide General Manager Martin Medina, Commercial Manager Martin Rojas and island Manager Eddie Andre urged the company’s “friends and businesses,” visiting the Miami area to go and experience its new building, which they said has been designed “with the customer at heart.” The company also thanked its clients for their continued business.
