ANGUILLA--Before a packed audience at the Landsome Bowl on Sunday evening, Deztynee Bryan was crowned the new Miss Scotiabank Talented Teen.
She won all of the scored sections including Best Personal Aspirations Speech, Best Talent, Best Evening Wear and Best Question & Answer. She was also chosen as Miss Photogenic. Deztynee was the youngest contestant at 15 years with the other three contestants aged 17 years. The first runner-up was Diaz Mussington who won the Miss Congeniality prize.
Deztynee received a Surface 3 Tablet and EC $2,500, while Diaz received a Samsung J7 Dual-Sim Cell phone and $1,700. The other two contestants each received $1,000. The contestants were also each awarded a pedicure and manicure from CuisinArt Gold Resort and Spa.
