There was another big dump-fire in Philipsburg on Monday evening. A front-end loader, two excavators and a dump truck were seen trying to quell it by smothering it with dirt and sand. The fire was still ablaze by around 8:00pm, when this photo was taken. The cause and duration could not be ascertained by press time.
