Gumbs will be the presenter at the first in a series of St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce and Industry (COCI) “Grow Your Business with COCI” workshops, on August 29.
Gumbs will speak on the loan acquisition technique during the workshop, which is scheduled to be held at the COCI Conference Room from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
Persons with “a great business idea,” but no financial backing – those who have gone to the bank for assistance and were turned down without knowing why, can “start a new beginning” for their business by learning about the loan acquisition technique, it was stated in a press release.
“The loan acquisition technique will not only change how you view the financial aspect of business, but how you view your future growth as a business.”
Gumbs holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and has had a career in the banking industry. He is currently a Loan Officer at Qredits. Gumbs looks forward to sharing his knowledge at the event. His aim is to ensure that St. Maarten becomes more economically and socially stable.
“The COCI grow-by-learning training courses are crucial for personal and professional business development, and an opportunity for individuals to acquire new skills [and – Ed.] improve their existing knowledge and abilities, which allow them to continue to grow their business in a sustainable manner,” COCI said.
