Extension given on  filing tax returns

PHILIPSBURG--The Inspectorate of Taxes has granted an extension on the filing of tax returns due to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak.

  The inspectorate said in a press statement on Monday that the extension will be automatically granted for the filing and payment of provisional profit tax return. The original due date for this, March 31, has been extended to June 30.

  An automatic extension is also granted for the filing of income tax returns, which originally were due on May 31 and are now due on August 31.

  The Inspectorate’s revised opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm until further notice. Additional information can be received by sending an email to
