MARIGOT--A man was lucky to escape with his life after he was shot at twice by another man in Marigot on Saturday morning.
Commandant Sébastien Manzoni said the shooting occurred around 10:30am when the two men were engaged in a heated argument. As the argument escalated into a brawl, one of the two men drew a gun and fired at his opponent, who then tried to escape. Another shot was fired, but missed its target.
The victim managed to escape with only light injuries from the fight. The Gendarmerie is searching for the shooter.
