Free screenings for public on Saturday

ZAGERSGUT--The Youth and Health Departments of the Philipsburg Seventh-Day Adventist Church will mark Global Youth Day on Saturday by offering free health and dental screenings to the public. All screenings will be conducted in the parking lot of Kwik Bargains on Bush Road from 7:00am to 12:00pm.

Tests offered at the screening day are glucose (sugar), high blood pressure, cholesterol, HIV and free dental check-ups. These will be carried out via the Health and Dental Mobile Bus

 

Residents are encouraged by Youth Department Head Raphael Dowe and Health Department Head Jacky Barry to take advantage of free tests and screenings.

A healthy vegetarian breakfast will also be available to all attendees of the screening day.

SDA young people will also go out into their communities to deliver food and water to families in need and others they with whom come into contact on their journey.
