Get papers in order

Traffic controls were conducted on St. Eustatius on Tuesday by the Police Corps Caribbean Netherlands. Just before noon, vehicles were pulled over in the vacant lot across from Fort Oranjestraat and Heiligerweg.

The controls prompted motorists to ensure their road tax, insurance and vehicles are up to date. Police Officer Dwayne Lindo said traffic stops are part of the Police 2018 Year Plan. Controls will continue throughout the month. Motorists who require further information can contact the police department on 318-2333 or 318-3051 or pass by the office.
