The Volunteer Corps of St. Maarten VKS distributed food and essential supplies on behalf of Government’s Social Affairs Department on Wednesday. The VKS members were led by Commander Antonio Rogers who personally saw to it that the items were distributed in an orderly fashion. The giveaway took place on Walter J. Nisbeth Road (Pondfill) and hundreds stood in line to get the goods. Rogers said the VKS will be giving out more goods as they become available from Government.
