Honorary doctorates

St. Maartener Jamal Cummins (centre) recently received two honorary degrees during the Productive Business Summit and Golden Rule Global held in Gilbert, Arizona. He is now holds a doctorate in Christian Leadership from United Graduate College and Seminary International and a doctorate in Humanities Civil Society.

The conference, themed “Executing the Power of Collaboration,” was organised by Dr. Vernet A. Joseph, a productivity speaker, best-selling author and the founder/Chief Executive Officer of Live To Produce Enterprises, LLC. The theme sought to unite the business community, industry influencers and global leaders for a day of productive impact and recognition. In April, Cummins, a resident of Alabama and a United States Army veteran, was one of four persons appointed World Civility Ambassadors at the World Civility Day Community Civility Counts Awards Dinner. Cummins is the son of Harrison and Joycelyn Cannegieter, nephew of Member of Parliament Franklin Meyers and grandson of the late Etienne and Eulalie “Ms. Lalie” Meyers.
