St. Eustatius National Parks Foundation (STENAPA) has been busy with clearing trails in the national parks since the last hurricane season. With most of the usual trails now back in peak condition, the STENAPA team shifted gears.
Both marine and terrestrial rangers, along with their interns, set out at the beginning of the iconic trail into the crater of The Quill. With everyone carrying equipment and material needed, the team was able to get down to business and complete the steps in only two days.
