KLM announces direct flights to St. Maarten

AIRPORT--As of October 30, airline KLM will fly without a stop in Curaçao.

The outbound flight was previously flown three times weekly with a stop in St. Maarten. The new direct flight will now save passengers four hours and twenty minutes in travelling time.

KLM will fly three times a week directly to St. Maarten, and seven times directly to Curaçao. The flights to and from St. Maarten will be operated with an Airbus 330-200 with room for 243 passengers. The flights to and from Curaçao will be operated with a Boeing 747-400 with capacity for 408 passengers.

KLM will also extend their flights to Aruba and Bonaire with an additional flight on Sundays. These flights will be operated using an Airbus 330-300 with room for 292 passengers.
