PHILIPSBURG--Swally World Ent. Foundation’s “Flood Relief” drive has been going well and President Kerry Wilson thanked the public, local Chinese supermarkets and the Seventh-Day Adventist Church for their contributions to the cause. The foundation started the drive earlier this month after news broke about the flooding in Trinidad and Tobago.

“First off I must congratulate the people of St. Maarten for their tremendous support. You guys are a clear example that the spirit of ‘The Friendly Island’ is still alive.

Unfortunately, a lot of people have been calling and asking if there would be a second trip, seeing they haven’t found time in their busy schedule to drop off their stuff, Instead of doing two trips, we decided to push back the date to give those that haven’t as yet time to do so,” said Wilson.

On Dock agent Cleveland Coddington is offering assistance to those who are not able to drop off their stuff. To have it picked up, contact him at +1-721-553-3670. November 16 will be the final deadline and the ship leaves port on November 18.
