DUTCH QUARTER--Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labor VSA Omar Ottley and his team from Community Development, Family Planning and Humanitarian Affairs (CDFHA) brought smiles to the faces of scores of youngsters, family and the elderly in Dutch Quarter on Saturday, December 18, during a Community Fun Day held at the De Weever property.

The holiday event was filled with fun, games and laughter as children played in the bouncy castle, enjoyed free treats of popcorn, hotdogs, drinks, lunch and locally made tarts, while families enjoyed family time, while some played games, including dominoes. A deejay provided musical entertainment.
A team from United Telecommunications Services (UTS) was on hand promoting its services and signing up clients; a team from CDFHA was also on hand providing information to attendees. Ottley was on hand throughout the event giving a helping hand in the different activities, including helping to serve lunch and treats to those present.
The highlight of the day was the visit by Santa Claus, who came bearing gifts for the children. Ottley assisted Santa in handing out the gifts.
