GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), announces that there will be a partial closure of a section of Welgelegen road for motorised traffic from Friday night December 13 at 9.00pm until Saturday, December 14 at 7.00am.
The partial closure will take place from the intersection of Tiger road in the vicinity of Econo Food Market until Hyena road near Sea Breeze Hotel.
The works will be carried out by NV GEBE and subcontractor Washington Construction Company, and is in connection with pouring of the last section of concrete on Welgelegen road in order to finalize the project.
Motorists are advised to be vigilant and observant of the traffic diversion directional signs.
Ministry VROMI apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
