No fuel supply yet

Despite the court decision to lift the seizure by US oil company ConocoPhillips of “Petroleos de Venezuela” PDVSA assets where necessary for Curaçao’s energy supply, the local Isla refinery leased by PDVSA has not resumed deliveries to the island’s fuel distributor Curoil.

The government-owned company is now considering more legal steps. Isla is reportedly scheduled to resume production in June, following a maintenance window.
