Not far from the tree

St. Maarten’s first-ever father-and-son comedy show will hit the stage under the tent at Princess Port de Plaisance at 7:00pm Sunday, June 3.

The event will feature philosopher of humour Fernando Clark and his son Sherlon Clark-Ferdinand, known as the rising star. The show will honour Clark’s good friend the late Roland Cecil Bryson, also known as Pa Ben or Chimongo, who passed away last Saturday. In a press conference held on Wednesday, the father and son duo gave an in-depth explanation of what patrons of the show should expect: Politics, social issues, life and its challenges, and growing up as a youngster, among other topics. Tickets are available at both Van Dorp locations and at SOS radio for US $30.
