Not in compliance

Police conducted a traffic control on Cole Bay Hill from 9:00am to 12:00pm Thursday. The focus of the control was to check vehicles with dark tinted windows and drivers who had unpaid fines.

A total of 80 vehicles were checked, 50 vehicles with tinted windows were controlled and the tint removed, one vehicle was towed, five drivers had to pay their outstanding fine, and 19 fines were issued for numerous traffic violations. These traffic controls will continue indefinitely, and the police advise all drivers and vehicle owners to have their vehicles inspected and their road tax paid no later than July 1. All divers and vehicle owners should take keen notice of this information to prevent any unnecessary delays or inconveniences.
