Deputy Minister Plenipotentiary Hasani Ellis recently welcomed the St. Maarten Parliamentary delegation headed by Parliament Chairwoman Sarah Wescot-Williams to St. Maarten House in The Hague with a reception for people with St. Maarten background, including young professionals and students.
The delegation also comprised Members of Parliament (MPs) Silveria Jacobs, Wycliffe Smith and Roland Brison. All four MPs addressed the gathering about news from home, recovery and the relationship with the Netherlands. Following the formal part of the reception, guests had one-on-one chats with their MPs.
