Windwardside, Saba
SABA/ST. EUSTATIUS--The online environment of the Caribbean Netherlands tax office will be included in the “MijnCN”, the online platform for official services in the Caribbean Netherlands, on Tuesday, January 19.
From a technical perspective it is quite an operation to move the tax office to the new platform. The preparations are in full swing and the actual transition takes place in the third weekend of 2021.
From Saturday, January 16, up to Monday, January 18, it will not be possible to log into the online environment of the Caribbean Netherlands tax office. From January 19 users in Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba can go to
www.mijncn.nl for their income tax, general spending tax ABB and wage tax (“loonheffing”).
The tax department is the first public service on the new platform. In the second quarter of 2021, Social Affairs and Employment SZW will also join, with the possibility for employers to report absenteeism for the lost pay application online.
In time the portal will be expanded with more public services by the central and local governments so that residents in Bonaire, Statia and Saba can organise their official matters via one portal.
To submit an income tax declaration, the user must create a new account on MijnCN. To submit a declaration for ABB or loonheffing, the user can use the login details that were used before.
