Old government building to be torn down

The eyesore in centre of town – the old government administration building – is slated to be torn down. The building is said to be mould-infested due to the Hurricane Irma-broken roof. It has been deemed cost-prohibitive to clean up and repair the aged building. The old fire station building also is set to turn to rubble. However, the timeline will be related to the acquisition of funds. The lots are to be left vacant after demolition until plans are formulated on new usage.
