Representatives of the Saba Emergency Support Functions (ESFs) met at the Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) at the Fire Department in The Bottom to discuss the plans for the 2019 hurricane season and to get an update from the key players in the ESFs.
Island Governor and EOC Head Jonathan Johnson called on residents to get ready for the hurricane season that starts on June 1 and to have a plan in place. He said that while predictions for this season varied, it took only one storm to cause damage.
