SYNOPSIS:
A weakened Atlantic high-pressure system will maintain gentle winds across the region, today through tonight, precipitation will also be limited as a result due to the relatively stable conditions. However by Wednesday, instability caused by developing troughs at different levels of the atmosphere and a moisture surge from the east will begin affecting the region, increasing the chances for shower activity.
Long-period swells are expected to affect local waters through the next 24 to 36 hours. As a result, small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
