SYNOPSIS:    

A tropical wave in the region is generating increased cloudiness, showers that may become moderate to heavy at times, and a low chance of isolated thunderstorms. Meanwhile, lighter concentrations of Saharan dust will continue to affect air quality and visibility. Persons with allergies and respiratory illnesses should continue taking precautions.  

Brisk winds will account for elevated marine conditions. Seas are forecast to peak up to 8 feet through early Monday morning. Accordingly, a Small Craft Advisory is in effect for St. Maarten. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.
