SURFACE WINDS:

This afternoon through Thursday midday: Northeast to east with a gentle to fresh breeze of 11 to 20 miles per hour and possible higher gust.

SYNOPSIS:
Brisk winds will continue to affect the region today due to the tight pressure gradient. Meanwhile, a relatively drier and stable atmosphere will limit significant shower activity today. However, brief showers are still possible due to low level moisture moving with the easterly trade winds. By late Thursday, moisture associated with a tropical wave/Invest 99L will start influencing the local region, increasing chances of shower and thunderstorm activity as a result.

Slight to moderate seas are expected with waves peaking up to 6 feet. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.

STATE OF THE SEA: Slight to Moderate          WAVES/SWELLS: 4 to 6 feet

SPECIAL FEATURE: None

OUTLOOK through Friday midday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
