This afternoon through tonight: Generally cloudy and breezy with scattered showers.

Monday morning through midday: Partly cloudy and breezy with brief showers possible.

SURFACE WINDS: 
This afternoon through Monday midday: Easterly to northeasterly with a gentle to fresh breeze of 12 to 19 mph and higher gusts possible.

 

SYNOPSIS:  

The Atlantic high pressure system will maintain brisk winds and above normal seas across the region. Patches of moisture embedded in the wind flow along with instability associated with a multilayered trough, will cause cloudy periods and scattered showers, some of which can be moderate to heavy at times.

Seas are expected to peak at 8 feet. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.

 

STATE OF THE SEA: Moderate to Rough      WAVES/SWELLS: 6 to 8 feet
