WEATHER:   This afternoon through Thursday midday: Generally fair to partly cloudy and hazy.

SURFACE WINDS:  This afternoon through Thursday midday: East to northeast with a gentle to moderate breeze of 05 to 15 mph.

                   

SYNOPSIS:   A dry and dusty atmosphere will continue to limit precipitation and cause hazy skies across the local area. Persons with allergies and/or respiratory illnesses should take the necessary precautions. Marine conditions are gradually subsiding. Nevertheless, north to northeast swells will continue to affect local waters. A small craft advisory will remain in effect for St. Maarten until this evening. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution.
