SYNOPSIS:
Another surge of Saharan dust is expected to reach the Eastern Caribbean today through the next couple of days. Persons with allergies and/or respiratory illnesses should continue to take the necessary precautions. While the Atlantic high pressure system maintains an easterly yet brisk wind flow across the region.
A small craft advisory remains in effect for St. Maarten as seas are expected to peak near 9 feet. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
