The dominant Atlantic high pressure ridge will maintain mostly gentle winds and restrict precipitation across the region. An approaching moisture surge associated with a tropical wave will increase the chances of showers during the latter part of this forecast period. Additionally, Saharan dust will be present in varying concentrations for the next several days. Persons with allergies and/or respiratory illnesses should take the necessary precautions.
