SYNOPSIS:
An approaching tropical wave will increase the probability of showers across the region, during the latter part of this forecast period. Meanwhile, the Atlantic high pressure ridge will continue to produce gentle to moderate winds.
Seas will remain slight to moderate during the next few days.

SPECIAL FEATURE:
Shower and thunderstorm activity has increased and a better defined center of circulation is forming in association with a broad area of low pressure located in the mid tropical Atlantic. Environmental conditions are expected to become more conducive for additional development and advisories could be initiated on a tropical depression as early as later today if these development trends continue. However, conditions are forecast to become less favorable for development by the end of the week. The disturbance is forecast to move west-northwestward near 15 mph.
