SYNOPSIS: Moisture and instability associated with a surface to mid-level trough and an approaching tropical wave will generate isolated showers across the region. These showers may be moderate and could be accompanied by thunder. Meanwhile, moist and warm southeasterly winds are expected through the forecast period. Seas will remain slight to moderate during the next few days.

SPECIAL FEATURES: A tropical wave located about a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles has a low chance (10%) of formation through the next 5 days. Conditions remain unfavorable for significant development as it nears the island chain. However, the Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor this system.
