An EZ Air aircraft from Curaçao arrived at F.D. Roosevelt Airport in St. Eustatius on Saturday, April 18, with Health Insurance Office ZVK patients on-board. Like every person travelling from a “yellow zone”, they were immediately placed in self-quarantine.
This measure applies to all persons travelling from islands or countries with confirmed coronavirus COVID-19 cases. The aircraft also brought medical supplies from Bonaire, destined for the St. Eustatius Public Health Department, and for Saba and St. Maarten. EZ Air took off later that day with ZVK patients on-board who left Statia for medical treatment.
