MARIGOT--A scooter rider was killed in the Cripple Gate area on Friday around 9:00pm after he was hit by a car, the Gendarmerie disclosed on Sunday.
The victim was not wearing a crash helmet and was in his 40s, Capitaine Emmanuel Maignan added.
The exact circumstances leading up to the fatal accident are still under investigation.
