Several draft national ordinances to be discussed in Parliament today

 

PHILIPSBURG--The draft national ordinance to amend the Penal Code in connection with the implementation of some urgent international obligations will be one of several topics of discussion when Members of Parliament (MPs) meet for the continuation of a meeting of the Central Committee of Parliament at 5:00pm today, Thursday.

  Also to be discussed is the draft national ordinance to establishing a new Code of Criminal Procedure and the draft National Ordinance Amending Book 2 of the Civil Code (Revised National Ordinance Book 2 of the Civil Code).

  The meeting was adjourned on August 12. Minister of Justice Cornelius de Weever will be present.

  The public can follow the deliberations in person at the House of Parliament located across from the Courthouse in Philipsburg.
