Renovation of the Central Bank of Curaçao and St. Maarten building on W.J.A. Nisbeth Road is still ongoing, but appears to be nearing completion after works started in 2015 and went through at least one major contractor change. The renovation of the building is aimed at making it a fully functioning Central Bank branch rather than its past function of more of an annex to the headquarters in Curaçao.
