The Collectivité has begun distributing colour-coded sorting bins such, as these installed in Oyster Pond on Thursday. The plan is to install 107 of the bins in all districts by the end of the year. The Collectivité’s long-term goal is to recycle 22kg of waste per inhabitant by 2018. The public is encouraged to protect the environment by using the bins provided.
