TelEm giving customers extra days to pay July bills

POND ISLAND--TelEm Group will be giving its customers “some extra days” grace period to pay their July bills which are currently due.

Disconnection notices placed in the local media recently said the last day of payment for July bills was Tuesday, October 10, with disconnections due the following day, Wednesday, October 11. However, management says it will extend the payment due date for July bills to October 16, to better accommodate customers.

“Our Simpson Bay location is closed and after the downpour of rain Tuesday, we are unable to open our Bush Road location as planned, therefore we are extending the payment due date for July bills to October 16, to also accommodate customers who are unable to use our other locations,” said Manager of Customer Care Veronica Browne.

She said as of now and until repairs can be done at the other locations, all due payments can be made at the TelEm Group main office on Pond Island. Browne also reminded subscribers to ensure their bills are current (up to July, 2017) to avoid disconnection.

TelEm Group also advised residential and business clients to provide the company with their e-mail contact information so that they can receive their next due bills online since the regular mailing of bills cannot take place because of damage to Postal Services St. Maarten (PSS) building.

Residential and business customers are asked to send an e-mail to
