POND ISLAND--TelEm Group’s Marketing and Sales team is hoping parents and mobile customers get “Smart” and take up a brand new “Smartie” Plan to keep their tech-savvy children charged and ready for the new school term.
The Smartie Plan is TelEm’s back-to-school promotion that begins this week with two weeks left for the start of the new school term. The plan offers 4GB of data, 100 call minutes and 150 SMS messages for US $25.
TelEm Manager of Marketing and Sales Grisha Heyliger-Marten, youngsters can also call their parent’s mobile or home number for free under the plan. “We view the new Smartie Plan as a cost-effective TelCell postpaid plan for younger schoolchildren generally, but also for youths up to the age of 21, Heyliger-Marten said.
With schoolchildren and young people being among the most avid users of data and mobile devices, she expects the Smartie Plan promotion to be very successful, especially for parents looking for more affordable packages with added benefits, including free calls to designated numbers.
