The Omer Arrondell School in French Quarter held its graduation ceremony on Friday. It’s the second year the school has held this ceremony for kids leaving primary school to attend junior high next year. Organisers said it was a great pleasure to have Omer Arrondell himself present for the ceremony with the school’s director Didier Lauglaney and parent’s representative Sylviane Gregoire.
Omer Arrondell presented an award to Jah Nessa Richardson. The school’s association said it hopes to bring the graduation level up higher next year. The association thanked the African dancers and Centre Symphorien d’Insertion (CSI) for the books donated as prizes and thanked everyone else who helped.
