U.S. Coast Guard relocates assets to Curaçao due to Hurricane Irma

WILLEMSTAD--Due to Hurricane Irma, the U.S. Coast Guard will be temporarily positioning seven Coast Guard Patrol Vessels from Puerto Rico to Curaçao from September 6-12th to facilitate response efforts.

  The U.S. government expressed its appreciation to the Government of Curaçao for its assistance in this matter.

  "Our thoughts are with the people who reside in the path of Hurricane Irma,” stated a release.
