PHILIPSBURG--The ring road will be closed to all vehicular traffic on Wednesday from 7:00am to noon. All vehicles must be removed from the road by 9:00pm today, Tuesday, by order of the Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure VROMI.
The closure will facilitate repairs to a sunken area by the Ministry. Milled asphalt will be used to patch the area.
Any vehicle not removed by the appointed time will be towed at the owner’s expense, according to the Ministry.
All motorists are urged to heed the road closure, remove their vehicles and to respect the allotted work frame to ensure prompt reopening, said the Ministry.
