President Daniel Gibbs this week signed the 10-year contract with Executive President of the Saur Group Louis Roch Burgard. Saur is the new water provider and distributor for the French side, which took over from Général des Eaux on December 1, 2018. The good news for consumers is that as of January 1, 2019, water bills will be reduced by 13 per cent, thanks to investments made by the Collectivité in the networks. The 31 local employees were retained and transferred to the new company.
