Council of Ministers acknowledges Administrative Professionals’ Day

The Council of Ministers acknowledges National Administrative Professionals’ Day, formally known as Secretaries Day or better known as Admin Day, which is observed on the Wednesday of the last full week in April of each year.

It is a day to recognize the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists and other administrative support professionals.

National Administrative Professionals’ Day is an internationally recognized day that is celebrated around the world and it is only befitting that as a country Sint Maarten pays special recognition to its professionals in both private and public sectors. The Council of Ministers encourages all business owners and management to acknowledge their supporting staff on this day as they are the threading that hold daily operations together and are the link to ensure the smooth flow of information both internally and externally.

“Oftentimes these small roles go unnoticed but administrative roles are the foundation of a company’s operations. Administrative workers are the face of your business or department, that person is the first impression for your costumers. Showing appreciation doesn’t have to be costly. Any small effort to make this group of employees feel special can go a very long way,” said Prime Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin.

The Council of Ministers wishes all secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists and other administrative support professionals a Happy National Administrative Professionals’ Day.
