Earthquake rattles Trinidad & Grenada

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad--A 4.9-magnitude earthquake was felt in Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

  According to the Seismic Research Centre at the University of the West Indies, the quake occurred 13 minutes after midnight.

  It struck about 51 kilometres (km) northwest of Tobago’s capital, Scarborough; 108km north-northeast of Arima, Trinidad; and 99km southeast of St. George’s, Grenada.

  There were no reports of injuries or damage, however. ~ Caribbean360 ~
