For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
- Showers and thunderstorms associated with a tropical wave located a few hundred miles south-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands are showing some signs of organization. Environmental conditions could support some development of this system over the next couple of days while it moves westward at 15 mph across the tropical eastern Atlantic.
