SUCKER GARDEN--Brell Bennett took top honours in the 8-Ball Pool Tournament held at Margaritas Bar Saturday and Sunday. A total of 16 shooters entered the competition. In the final Bennett faced Josue Hyacinthe. Michael Paris placed third. The Tournament director was Raul Edillo. The competiton featured both A and B level players. The B players received a handicapp if they faced an A player. It was race to 3 wins to advance. Bennett played four matches for the win. In the round of 16 Bennett won the first two games. He then lost two and finally took the match winning the last. In the round of eight Bennett only need four games to win. He took the first, lost the second and won the third and fourth. Bennett won the next round in the same manner winning the first, dropping the second and finishing strong taking the last two. In the final he won in straight sets. Hyacinthe on the other hand lost the opener in every round.
