FEYENOORD DEAL DONE

Manchester United have won the race for Tahith Chong Born in Willemstad, the capital city of the Caribbean island nation of Curacao, Chong moved to Holland and has been a part of the Feyenoord academy set-up since the age of 10. Manchester United are close to finalising terms for Feyenoord midfielder Tahith Chong. 16-year-old Chong is one of Europe's most exciting talents who United have been closely monitoring over the past few months.

The highly-rated forward intimated in January he was keen to stay at Feyenoord. He said at the time: "Feyenoord is and remains my first choice and we are still negotiating". It has been claimed that Chong has chose to sign for Manchester United and is close to sealing his move to Old Trafford in the summer.
The winger turned down a professional contract offer from Feyenoord earlier this year, much to manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst's dismay, once he got wind of interest from Premier League clubs. There is absolutely no question that I'm going out to the club. "Feyenoord now will come up with a plan of how they see me in the coming years at the club". And on Wednesday the Mail reported that United are on the verge of winning a race to sign Chong that Arsenal are also apparently involved in. He has worked his way through the ranks at the Dutch top club and is also a Dutch Under 17 global.
