St. Maarten forward Kewandy Jacquet is the later young athlete to received an athletic scholarship to the United States. Kewandy received a full scholarship to Reborn Christian Acadamy in Kissimmee Florida. Jacquet is just one of several local athletes that have received an athletic scholarship due to the hard work of Island Elite Sports Foundation with NB Scouting, Simple Sports Foundation and a group of dedicated coaches representing baseball, softball and now basketball.
